A Research on Applying Intervention of Voice Recognition
to the Students with Writing Disabilities

Abstract
In the United States, the researchers investigate the validity of using LWP——the simulating system of voice recognition, and the real voice recognition system to help the students with writing disabilities improve their writing. The results show that LWP-supported writing is much better than traditional dictation and writing with hand for the students with writing disabilities, while the effectiveness of voice recognition using for the students with learning disabilities is uncertain due to the limitation of technology. As the development of technology, the system of voice recognition can become technical tool to assist dictation for students with writing difficulties. Research findings in the United States are valuable for researches in this field in our country.
