An Example of Psychodrama Application in Mental Health Education

Abstract Idolatry is a common phenomenon among youth. How to help youth treat the idol properly is becoming more and more focused by parents and staff working in the field of education. Psychodrama, one form of mental health education, is easy to be understood and accepted, with the features of being suitable to developmental characteristics of youth, coming from real life and being easy and free. There are four basic roles including director, leading actor, supporting role and audience in psychodrama. There are also three phases including warm-up, performance and participation in psychodrama. This paper introduces psychodrama's specific working process and skills through a case of a youth idolater.
