AbstractThis paper provides a systematic overview of studi es in intelligence,emotional disturbance, and ecological environment, factors which affect the dev elopment of adaptive behavior in mentally retarded children. We hope to providesome data for developing the adaptive behavior in mentally retarded children, an d for implementing individual educational program.
